Travis Fisher
Young Adult Mythological Urban Fantasy Author
About
Travis has a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing with a focus on Fiction Writing. He is working to expand the voices of those represented in the LGBTQIA+ community by showcasing them through a lens that has long supported the community, Mythology. Society has made extensive progress in showcasing gay and lesbian relationships, and Travis would like to further expand that representation with more of the community, such as asexual, demisexual, bisexual, and so much more.
He is currently working as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This job has given him an eye for attention to detail and he applies that to his writing, making sure to carefully research each topic to best represent them. In his free time, Travis also plays Dungeons & Dragons, usually in the role of the Dungeon Master. This storytelling role gives him experience in working with various moving parts and different people’s perspectives, which all add to his experience in working with a multitude of characters.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he studied with Southern New Hampshire University. He often spends his free time studying book trends, reading, and snuggling his cats. As a Pennsylvania resident, he also spends a lot of his summers going to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, which have also added to his knowledge of LGBTQIA+ activities, as they actively support the community and add new shows in their honor.
